Mornings with Kerri Anne [ Highlights in the Media ]

Two of our Little Sisters enjoyed their fifteen minutes of fame when they appeared on Mornings with Kerri Anne and shared about The SISTER2sister Program.

This segment featured Little Sister, Yasemin from the 2007 program and her Big Sister, Lisa Crotty along with Founder of Life Changing Experiences Foundation, Jessica Brown.  Little Sister, Kylie Humphreys from the 2006 Program also shared her success story.  Both girls inspired their audience, sharing about how the Program enabled them to turn their lives around while facing many obstacles.  We are extremely proud of our Little Sister ambassadors and commend them for sharing their stories in order to let other Little Sisters know that there is help out there, and that they are certainly not alone.

Life Changing’s Ambassador and Big Sister Jacinta Tynan recently launched her latest book, Some Girls Do. This anthology is a collection of over 50 of Australia's favourite female writers recounting the true stories of their teenage years.

The launch was themed as a high school formal in the eighties. Some guests even had the chance to wear their original Year 12 formal dresses, including Life Changing Program Director, Vicki Condon and Founder, Jessica Brown.  Little Sister graduate, Grace Whiting (now studying Communications) had the unique opportunity to write a chapter in the book, which in itself was a Life Changing Experience.
We are grateful to Jacinta for selflessly creating this masterpiece and being such a great ambassador for The SISTER2sister Program. Following the launch, the book sold out in a week, reprints are currently available. All royalties go to The SISTER2sister Program and Allen and Unwin have donated $1 from every book sold. Little Sister Graduate Grace Whiting was thrilled to meet Missy Higgins at the Channel 7 studios.

Another highlight for Grace, was a guided tour of Channel 7 with our very own ambassador Marguerite McKinnon, followed by a scrumptious breakfast at the Lindt Chocolate Café. We would like to thank Marguerite and Channel 7 for providing this Life Changing Experience.
