NIVEA and Life Changing Experiences Foundation – AN EXCITING NEW PARTNERSHIP IS BORN! |
Dear Supporter,
Welcome to this month’s Life Changing News.
It has been an extremely exciting time for Life Changing Experiences Foundation. As you know, it’s a critical objective for us to ensure the sustainability of the Foundation by sourcing the funds required through the creation of corporate and community long term national partnerships.
Is it any wonder that we are over the moon with the launch of our very first major partnership with international brand NIVEA. As you can imagine, we are thrilled to be working in conjunction with such a prominent brand and will keep you posted with our joint ventures and campaigns which will enable us to raise our profile in the Australian community.
Lyndal, our National Program Manager and I have been back down to Canberra to lobby in Parliament which proved an extremely worthwhile trip. We are excited about the prospects for further funding so that we can continue to sustain the Foundation and expand our Melbourne program to full capacity in 2010.
Our outstanding achievements are a reflection and tireless work of our board, staff and our extraordinary volunteers who wholeheartedly band together to make a phenomenal difference to the lives of others. These accomplishments are also a testament to the continued support that we receive from our government, community and corporate funding bodies. I am continuously inspired by the generosity of our community, for giving endless opportunities to the troubled teenage girls who we work with and their commitment to make the Australian community a better place.
Most importantly, our Little Sisters are blossoming and working through their challenges and kicking goals (no matter how small). Their courage and resilience is admirable and I’m proud of each and every one of them for being brave enough to get out of their comfort zones and be part of this amazing program.
Finally, after months of putting her various skills to use for the benefit of the Foundation, it is my pleasure to announce that the Board and I have appointed Syd as Operations Manager for Life Changing. In this role Syd will be responsible for all the day to day administration of the Foundation. Please join me in welcoming and supporting Syd in her role.

Big Sister, Jennie Avery and her Little Sister, Gaby Hansford share with us their journey together so far on the SISTER2sister Program.
