Dear Supporter,
What an amazing start we’ve had to 2009!!! 60 Little Sisters attended the 2009 Butterfly Boot Camp in January, 10 of whom joined us from Melbourne, our very first group from Victoria.
Boot Camp was an overwhelming event, jam packed with fun, emotion and excitement. This group of Little Sisters certainly kept us all on our toes. We shed tears of joy and pride on the final night as we witnessed the giant leaps the girls had taken in their self-confidence, so evident during the speeches they gave. I am grateful for the tireless efforts of everyone involved in making the 2009 Butterfly Boot camp a huge success.
2009 looks to be another exciting year for the team at Life Changing Experiences as we co-ordinate the Sydney and Melbourne Programs. Our passion for making a difference to at-risk teenage girls around Australia has only increased given what we were able to achieve in the short time at Boot Camp.
Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to all who responded and donated to the "Dollar a month" campaign in December. In the current economic climate where so many charities are struggling to make ends meet, we cannot begin to tell you how much we appreciate your generosity. Please do spread the word about our work and encourage your family, friends and colleagues to support the efforts of our Foundation.
On behalf of the team at Life Changing Experiences, I wish you a contented and healthy 2009. We hope that the generosity you have shown us will be repaid to you and that 2009 will be a year to remember.

The 2009 Butterfly Boot Camp - Narrabeen Sport and Recreation Centre,

This year’s Boot Camp proved to be another winner! It was once again, the essential first step of the SISTER2sister Program to initiate the bonding and learning process between Big Sister mentors and their respective Little Sisters. What an amazing life changing experience for all involved.
