Patti Miller, who teaches life writing at Butterfly Bootcamp and is Australia’s most experienced memoir mentor, is taking a Memoir Writing group to Paris on 21st October this year for 16 days. Aureol Tours and the Sydney Writers Centre are taking bookings and making all arrangements
Imagine yourself writing in Paris, the city made for and by writers, revolutionaries, poets, philosophers, painters – the city of imagination, memory and art. The cafes buzz with discussion, the light and leaves are golden, your heart and mind sing with the richness of history, beauty and pleasure as you step out of your own apartment each morning on the way to memoir writing class with like-minded travellers. In the afternoon you discuss your own writing individually with Patti, or explore the wonders of Paris, or meet with your friends in a local cafe.
Writing in Paris is more than a tour, it is a sojourn for those who want to experience Paris, not as tourists, but from the inside, writing and living as locals.
