Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a chance to rest and recover from 2008 and are now keen to get back in and live life to the full in 2009. Our SASSI teams have been working hard to come up with some brilliant events and activities and these are listed below so you can mark your diaries.
Firstly, welcome to two new SASSI teams. The first is led by Helen McBain from AMP and the other by Nonie Veness, one of our past Big Sisters. These amazing ladies are busily gathering their teams to plan some amazing events and activities for you.

Fri 13th Feb - BBQ & Bowls Night at Paddington Bowling Club
Hosted by Sara Lewis and her very capable SASSI Team 3, the BBQ & Bowls night provided both experienced and those willing to have a go some great fun playing Lawn Bowls. A great night was had by all. Many thanks to the supporters and sponsors namely: Austen Brothers and Australian Gourmet Meats.
Wed 25th Feb - Gold Grass at Moonlight Cinema – Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Taking full advantage of Summer we spent a lovely evening in Centennial Park where guests enjoyed a chicken and salad dinner with a glass of bubbly before settling in to watch the iconic movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s. A special thank you to supporters and sponsors.

Tuesday 10th Mar – Movie Night – Easy Virtue at Dendy Cinema, Circular Quay
This pre-release movie starring Jessica Biel, Ben Barnes and Kristin Scott Thomas portrays the struggles of marriage and a whirlwind romance in the South of France.

Thursday 19th Mar – FICAP Who wants to be a Rock Star?
FICAP (Financial Industry Community Aid Program) hosts the successful event "Who wants to be a Rock Star" where sponsors are invited to attend and nominate one person from each group to sing live on the night with the band. There will be great prizes and multiple networking opportunities.
