Debra Brodowski, our long term volunteer and supporter gave birth to Anya Valentyna Brodowski born 23 September 2010 Height 51cm, weight 3.5kgs. Mum and baby are doing fabulously!

Dear Life Changing Supporter,

It’s been a couple of exciting months here at Life Changing and it’s hard to believe that we have only one more outing with our Little Sister mentees from the SISTER2sister Program before they graduate at the end of November.

Continuing the momentum from our extremely successful Celebrating Sisterhood Ambassadors’ Lunch, quite a number of attendees pledged to raise money before the end of the year. We have already had great success to speak of. Nikki Beaumont and her team from Beaumont Consulting put on a hugely successful trivia night with 250 attendees. This entertaining evening raised a whopping $11,500! Linda Beuzeville, one of our dedicated volunteers and counselors for the SISTER2sister Program, had a girls night in and raised $1200. Catherine Swan, a dedicated supporter raised $1680 from her movie screening of Eat Pray Love, which was a sell out! Long time supporters Margaret and Rob Chapman donated $5000 to the Foundation to support a Big and Little sister match for 2011. Author Amanda Cole has donated part royalties of her book, "You are my Future" which launches on the 8th of December.

Keep posted for more exciting fundraising events and initiatives before the year is out.

SISTER2sister News

Only one more outing before Graduation on Saturday the 27th of November!
We are extremely proud of how far our Little Sisters have come and are excited about what the future holds for them. We are now taking applications for the 2011 Program for both Little Sister Mentees and Big Sister Mentors.

Fundraising News

Exciting news on the grant front - we were successful in receiving $10,000 from the Commonwealth Bank Staff Foundation and $5,000 from the ANZ Staff Foundation. For the second year running, we have been chosen to be included on the list for the Hunter Hall’s Shareholders Scheme which last year raised $9,000.
