Kerri Pottharst will be presenting at Bootcamp, she runs a great session on challenges. She would like to give the Little Sisters a copy of her inspirational book. We need funding of $500 to make this possible. Please contact LCEF if you or your organisation can help.

"I’d love for all the girls to receive a copy. It is such a valuable tool and I really believe it will make a difference for them. It will reinforce all my messages. They’ll always have it and have the memory of walking on the glass."
Kerri Pottharst

"People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.."
Elizabeth Kübler-Ross

Dear Life Changing Supporter,

A warm welcome to 2011 and a very Happy New Year to you all. As we begin another year and the 2011 SISTER2sister Program, we have high hopes for amazing changes and opportunities this year.

We look forward to welcoming our new Little Sisters, they will no doubt challenge us and give us the chance to better ourselves. We are excited about the journey they are about to embark with their Big Sisters who will be making a positive difference to their lives. We look forward to the many opportunities the Foundation has to grow, and will continue to build a strong network of support for our volunteers.

This year has already begun with exciting ventures. Life Changing Experiences Foundation will be publishing a cookbook, "Cooked with Love" celebrating motherhood. This cookbook will be launched in time for Mothers' Day.

I have been selected for the Commonwealth Bank Local Hero program, this will be an opportunity to raise much needed funds to support the SISTER2sister Program.

We welcome our new partner, Magnolia, a fast-growing jewellery store, we are very excited to have them join us as Life Changing.

As we travel through 2011, I’d like to thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to updating you on the activities of the Foundation and the SISTER2sister Program.

Kind regards,

Jessica Brown

Thank you Jurgen Schmechel!

We would like to acknowledge all our supporters who actively fundraise for the SISTER2sister Program.

This month we highlight Jurgen Schmechel’s efforts. His wife Ingrid was a Big Sister mentor in the 2010 NIVEA-SISTER2sister Program so he has seen the benefits that mentoring provides to disadvantaged teenage girls. Jurgen has set himself a challenge to do the 1.5 km ocean swim and to raise $1500 and has already passed the $1000 mark.

To support Jurgen in his challenge and raise funds for the SISTER2sister Program please see his HERO page here>
