Dear Life Changing Supporter,
Welcome to this issue of Life Changing News. Thanks so much to our wonderful volunteer, Sophie Lin, who has been putting our newsletter together for us for the past four years…we appreciate it so much.
What an incredible year so far... lots of exciting events on the horizon!
Thanks to my extraordinary team, Bootcamp was a huge success and everyone had a great time getting to know each other -although a few of us could have done with a little more sleep! Our Little Sisters are doing well and it is priceless to watch them start to form bonds with their Big Sisters and each other. My Big Sisters are incredible women who have done a remarkable job in supporting their Little Sisters.
Cooked with Love-Recipes my mother taught me.
Marnee and I were thrilled to launch our new book as a tribute to our Mothers on Mother’s Day. The launch was held at the Loft and sponsored by NIVEA. It was great to meet so many of the mothers who contributed their secret family recipes handed down with love! 100% of the proceeds go directly to the SISTER2sister Program, so if you haven’t already purchased one please do.

Thank you St George Bank Foundation, ING Foundation and Commonweatlth Bank
We were so excited to receive $40,000 from the St George Bank Foundation and $15,000 from the ING Foundation. Without their generous and ongoing support we wouldn’t be able to continue our wonderful work in the community. Our partnership with Commonwealth Bank continues this year with their assistance with setting up a direct debit system so that we can embrace the continued support of the wider public with our ongoing giving program. This will help greatly with self sustainability.

I’m so excited to launch the 2011 SASSI challenge. I have a personal goal to sign up 20 SASSI teams in the new financial year so I’ll keep you posted.
