What is SASSI?
SASSI commenced in September 2007 and is an initiative of LCEF. SASSI stands for Sisters Aiding the SISTER2sister Initiative, and allows women who may not be in a position to be Big Sisters to contribute to LCEF and the SISTER2sister program through fundraising. All fundraising supports the direct delivery of the annual SISTER2sister program.
SASSI mission
To raise the necessary funds to sustain the SISTER2sister program so that LCEF can continue to empower vulnerable teenage girls to make positive life choices for a better future.

The SASSI Challenge and Awards
Each registered SASSI team will automatically be registered for the SASSI Challenge. This is a friendly competition between SASSI teams with the objective of each team raising $10,000 in 12 months. The SASSI Challenge can also be seen as multiple SASSI teams setting their own challenges yet working together to achieve the same outcome... to sustain the SISTER2sister program. The SASSI Awards are a way of recognising the incredible efforts of the teams.
