Jayne Azzopardi is an Australian journalist currently working as a newsreader for Channel 9. She’s spent time in Canberra reporting on politics, travelled the world to report on the Prime Minister’s visits and worked in the US as a correspondent for Channel 9. She’s also spent time working with ITN, BBC, CNBC and Al Jazeera.

With Jayne’s countless achievements, she’s also now an ambassador for the SISTER2sister program! Jayne strongly believes in the importance of mentoring young girls!

Jayne Azzopardi is a newsreader on Weekend Today and a Reporter/Presenter for Nine News Sydney. Jayne joined Nine News in 2009 as a political journalist in Canberra. In her time there she covered two elections, three leadership changes, and travelled overseas to report on Prime Minister’s visits to Japan, Korea, China, New Zealand and the United States.
